Be Like Steve

Recently I watched an excellent movie title “The Tao of Steve”.  In this movie, an average guy lived by a simple philosophy which helped him attract a wide variety of attractive women.  While we all know that movies are just the product of Hollywood’s imaginiation, there is something to be learned from the main character’s philsophy.

So if you’re having trouble meeting women, then pay attention to the 3 simple rules that he follows in this movie

1)  Eliminate your desires-

In order to meet (and attract) women, you have remove all thoughts of having sex with her. This is important because most women can tell if you are after them just to get laid.  So when you are talking to a girl, make sure that you don’t worry about trying to go home with her.  Just enjoy the conversation for the sake of the conversation.

2) Do something excellent in her presence, thereby proving your sexual worthiness-

If you prove your worthiness in her eyes, then she will be the one to pursue you.  This means that you do something that is both interesting and different from the average guy.  By standing out, you will appear to be a valuable commodity.

3)  Retreat, for as Heidegger said, “We pursue that which retreats from us”-

After you have proven yourself and created desire in your target, move away from her.  If you do the first two steps properly, she will pursue you.  Since you now have proven your worth, retreating will make her want to work for your attention.
